These are little single layer pieces of card stock, decorated to tuck in notes, letters, gifts or any other way you want to give them to someone for that little extra way of saying "I'm thinking of you".

Little Note Pads

These little books and really "tiny", only about 2" square and so easy and fun to make.
To make one, size your template twice the size of your little sticky note pad and add enough to make the spine, depending on how thick your pad is. Center the spine and add your graphics to the front and back on each side of the spine. Or however you want it to look. Add graphics to the other template for the front inside. You can leave the back inside blank or add a background. Print out on card stock. Cut, and fold. Cut a piece of ribbon, (for this one I used about 12") and lay across the inside and glue the outside and inside card stock pieces together. The ribbon will be "sandwiched" between the two pieces of card stock. Use glue stick or double sided tape to hold the little pad on the inside back. Let dry completely before you tie the ribbon.

Altered Notebooks

I altered these notebooks by re- covering them and I used a matching color to make the pens match. Actually the blue pen already matched so I didn't have to alter it. The pens are the R.S.V.P. Pentel brand which have the clear barrel and perfect for inserting a graphic. The pens come in various colors.

Baby Memory Jar

This is a memory jar I made for a new baby. It holds a note pad and pen and a little envelope for the first hair cut to hold a hair sample. You could add other similar things. The author of the poems are unknown to me. I'm sure I found them on one of the many craft sites I visit frequently, I just can't remember which.

Film Strip Bookmark

I had an idea of making a bookmark from a filmstrip template. I couldn't find one exactly like I wanted so I made my own in my Digital Image program.
These are 2 different bookmarks but both have the same photos, showing the front and the reverse of these. I made a front and back for each, glued them together and laminated both
sides.

Edit: 8/20/08
I've had inquiries about the template for this bookmark so I've decided to upload it to my 4shared account. Feel free to download it for your personal use only.
Download from 4shared here. Zip file includes the following:

Marily Monroe Torso Booklet

Today I would like to share a little torso tag booklet I made a while back. I found the torso template here. (I used the dressmaker's manniquin template. )
I really enjoyed making this little "retro" booklet.

Retro is a term used to describe aspects of modern culture which are consciously derivative or imitative of those trends, modes, fashions, or attitudes of the recent past which have or had come to be seen as unfashionable. Wikipedia, the free Encyclopedia

“Everything Marilyn does is different from any other woman, strange and exciting, from the way she talks to the way she uses that magnificent torso.” Clark Gable

Altered Coasters

Altered Coasters Alter little ceramic coasters and make cute wall plaques. Print out a pretty graphic, laminate and apply adhesive backing to it.
Add it to the coaster front and add a little picture hanger to the cork backing with a strong glue like E6000.

The graphics I used to alter these coasters are by Carolee Jones, www.pcCrafter.com♦
