Little Bunny

I've seen a little bunny in my yard several times recently and it always hops away if I try to get close.
This afternoon when I looked outside my window, this is what I saw. The little bunny was in a very relaxed position. He was stretched out beneath the big magnolia tree. I grabbed my camera and zoomed through the window several times but didn't get a clear photo. He was lying directly in front of the door so I opened the door and very slowly and quietly stepped outside where I took this picture. Isn't this a beautiul bunny?

He's surely a beautiful one!
We used to have a whole family of wild rabbits(hares) in our back garden but unfortunately new houses have been built just beyond our garden and we have never seen them anymore, I sometimes go to the window hoping to see the little ones but remain disappointed... I do miss them.

Ohhhh!! I LOVE bunnies!! I used to collect anything with a bunny on it! I also used to have 2 live bunnies. They are so cute and cuddly, but are really not cut out to be house pets. They are very destructive and poo everywhere!

Most of the wild rabbits we see around here are small and wiry things. But there is this one that has shown up recently who is huge (relatively) and has no fear of humans!

I think it so odd (or coincidental) to find this picture today. I'm sitting on my deck and haven't seen any little bunnies around lately, but I did today and it looked just like this one. He didn't notice me so I was able to enjoy his company!
Congratulations on being blogger of note! I hope to win that honor as well some day! Love your blog and I'm definitely going to follow it!~ http://mistonthestream.blogspot.com
