Correction: Easter Recipe Card

My Birdie Has a Name

After searching and going over so many names and taking into consideration all the suggestions, I have chosen Sugar! She (or he) is a very sweet bird and it just seems natural to call it my little Sugar.
Thanks to all who suggested names. I considered each and every name many times but after all that, Sugar just seems to be the right one.
Sugar was suggested by Crafty Sue. Thank you Susan, for naming my parakeet!

Name the White Birdie

I have a beautiful little albino parakeet that has no name. I've had this little parakeet for a couple of months but I have not come up with the perfect name. One problem is that I don't know if it is a he or a she. It has a friend that I named Sunny because of it's beautiful yellow color. I was told that Sunny was probably a female but after getting to know both of these parakeets behavior I really believe Sunny is a male and the white bird has more behavior of a female birdie.
I am looking for a name that could be used for either gender or maybe a name that the spelling could be changed and still sound the same if needed.
Please watch my slide show and if you have a name suggestion, click on the comment section below and leave your suggestion.

Do It Yourself Jewelry

I found these pretty do-it-yourself jewelry pieces in the beading section of WalMart.
The top photo shows three of the sections, but before I used part of the set, it originally had 6 sections of connected beads.
I think it would have made a nice bracelet by just adding the closure to the ends but I decided to make earrings and a pendant on a chain.
The set turned out pretty and I still have enough left to make a second set.

The Jelly Bean Prayer

I made these baggie toppers that fit a 3 inch wide craft baggie. I believe I purchased my bags at WalMart in the craft department. They are 4 inches long and a good size to add a few jelly beans and then staple this topper to it. I didn't have the regular color jelly beans so I used the little bird eggs that I had on hand just to give you and idea of what they would look like. I will be buying the regular colored jelly beans. Who can have Easter without jelly beans?

I put 3 toppers to a regular size sheet of paper. I printed mine on card stock, but they can be printed on any paper you prefer.

Finished Easter Recipe Booklet

I thought I would post pictures of my finished photo album recipe booklet.
Here is a view of the front, a peek at the inside and the back. All pages are filled,
back and front and the finished booklet looks very nice.

Easter Recipe Booklet Cover

I've finally finished the easy Easter recipes, blank cards, and the front and back cover for the booklet.
Now I have to print out copies and put them all in one of the little albums.
The front and back covers are slightly larger than the recipe cards to better fit the outside covers of the dollar type photo albums.
If you decide to make a recipe booklet, the covers may have to be adjusted a bit in size as the albums may vary, depending on what brand you use. Or if you use a different method, the covers can easily be re-sized to 4x6 inches in your graphic editing program.

Easter Recipe Blank Cards

My last post of Easter recipe cards made a total of 18 cards and I was thinking that is the amount of pages in the little clear vinyl backed 4x6 photo albums that you find at the Dollar Stores and also at WalMart. I will probably print my cards out and fill one of those little booklets. That will leave the back of each page blank, so I thought if I fill each of those with a blank recipe card, more recipes can be hand written in later....Or half of the book could be filled with recipes, and the other half with blank cards. (Whatever suits my fancy!) I am working on a cover for the booklet and will try to have it posted tomorrow. If you would like a copy of my blank cards you can download HERE at this 4shared link and print out as many as you need.
